Can You Drive on Your Foreign Licence?
Yes, but only for a limited time:
- EU/EEA licence holders: Can drive in the UK until the licence expires
- Other countries (including non-EU): Can drive for up to 12 months from the date you became a resident
After this period, you must get a UK driving licence.
